ಬಸವ ಧರ್ಮದ ಮಾಹಾಜಗದ್ಗುರು ಪೀಠದ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಪೀಠಾಧೀಶರು.
ಜನನ : 15-09-1931
ಉರು: ಬಿಜಾಪುರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಬಸವನ ಬಾಗೇವಾಡಿ ತಾಲ್ಲೋಕಿನ ಮನುಗೂಳಿ ಗ್ರಾಮ.
ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸ: ಬಿ.ಎ. ಆನರ್್ಸ ಪದವಿ.
25-04-1955 : ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಮಾನಸಾಂತರ ಹೊಂದಿದರು.
19-11-1956: ಜ್ಞಾನ ಸನ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರು.
12-01-1992: ಬಸವ ಧರ್ಮದ ಮಾಹಾಜಗದ್ಗುರು ಪೀಠವನ್ನು ಏರಿದರು.
30-06-1995 : ಹಿರಿಉರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಚನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತ ಲಿಂಗೈಕ್ಯರಾಗಿ ಕ್ರಿಯಾ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯನ್ನೈದಿದರು.

ಜ್ಞಾನ ಸನ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ಕೊನೆಯವರೆಗೂ ಒಂದು ದಿನವೂ ಬಿಡದಂತೆ ಪ್ರವಚನದ ಮೂಲಕ ಜ್ಣಾನ ದಾಸೋಹ ಮಾಡುತ್ತ ಜನರಿಂದ ಪ್ರವಚನ ಪಿತಾಮಹ ಎಂಬ ಬಿರುದ್ದು ಪಡೆದರು.
ವಿಶ್ವಗುರು ಬಸವಣ್ಣನವರು ಬೋಧಿಸಿದ ವಿಶ್ವಧರ್ಮದ ಸಾರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರವಚನ, ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಕೃತಿಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು.
 ಪ್ರಪ್ರಥಮ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಜಗದ್ಗುರು ಪೀಠವನ್ನು ಧಾರವಾಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಗನ್ಮಾತಾ ಅಕ್ಕಮಹಾದೇವಿ ಅನುಭಾವ ಪೀಠ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ, ತಮ್ಮ ಕರಕಮಲ ಸಂಜಾತೆ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಜಗದ್ಗುರು ಮಾತೆ ಮಹಾದೇವಿಯವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರಥಮ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ಸಮಾನತಾ ತತ್ವವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಹಿಡಿದ ಕ್ರಾಂತಿಕಾರಿಗಳು.
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ರಾಜಧಾನಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಮಿಷನ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿದರು.
 ಕೂಡಲ ಸಂಗಮ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವನ್ನು ಸರ್ವಾಂಗ ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಲೋಸುಗ ಬಸವ ಧರ್ಮ ಪೀಠ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿ, ಬೃಹತ್ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿರುವ ಅವಿಶ್ರಾಂತ ಕ್ರಿಯಾಮೂರ್ತಿ.
 ನಾಡಿನಾದ್ಯಂತ ಸಂಚರಿಸಿ, ಜನಮನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಸವ ತತ್ತ್ವದ ಬೀಜಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತಿ; ಎತ್ತೆತ್ತ ನೋಡಿದಡತ್ತತ್ತ ಬಸವನೆಂಬ ಬಳ್ಳಿ, ಎತ್ತಿ ನೋಡಿದರೆ ಲಿಂಗವೆಂಬ ಗೊಂಚಲು, ಒತ್ತಿ ಹಿಂಡಿದರೆ ಭಕ್ತಿ ಎಂಬ ರಸ' ಎಂಬ ವಾತವರಣವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿ, ಬಸವ ಯುಗಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಂದಿ ಹಾಡಿದ ಜಂಗಮ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ.

1st Time, the Guru Who has thought Ishta Linga Puja and Given Linga Dhiksha Publicly*** (In 19th century) Before Him others are get fear to give Ishta Linga Dhiksha to other cast people, The Big salute to the Guruji who stand for common people and made it available Linga Dhikshe to every one. His Voice and Knowledge is cause for Transition in Many people life (towards Good), People called him as "ಪ್ರವಚನ ಪಿತಾಮಹ" (The father of Discourse).

Now the ದೇವ ಪೂಜಾ ವಿಧಾನ - ಇಷ್ಟಲಿಂಗ ಪೂಜಾ ಕ್ರಮ available in YouTube.

Its almost an hour journey from my home to office..I have purchased software* and edited video during this time.. Some times you may think that, why can't we feel GOD in the way the saints Like Akkamahadevi, Sri Arvidh and many more felt it.

Even though the human kind is greatest Among all animals, he is like an ant in front of GOD. If you go and tell an ant that there is Human world then it might be unbelievable thing for an ant, in the same way it's hard to believe for human about truth of GOD.

if u take a drop of water and check in microscope* you find many Bacteria's in it, for a bacteria the drop of water is a like ocean for it, even there are very small insects which are leaving on Bacteria they are called viruses they are 0.004 to 0.1 microns in size, which is about 100 times smaller than bacteria.

there is the earth and on earth, there are many beautiful Aquatic animals ಜಲಚರ and terrestrial animals ಭೂಚರ and among them human is a  tremendous creature who is  living on earth in many universes', For humans the GOD is unseen in the same way how the above world is unseen for small insects/viruses, if the small insects got human eye then it's easy to know and feel the above world in the same way if Humans can get the  wisdom eyes ಪ್ರಾತಿಭಚಕ್ಷು-ಅರಿವಿನಕಣ್ಣು then he can see the unseen GOD (ದೇವರ ಸ್ವರೂಪ).
